Warr Acres Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #145 would like to Thank  all of the citizens of Warr Acres for coming to the April 3rd Council Meeting and voicing your opposition to the suggested outsourcing of your public safety services!!! 

Detective Honored by Governors Commendation

In a recent ceremony the Governor's office presented commendations to several people including our very own brother Detective Davidofsky.

The following text was submitted by sister Detective Beth Green while nominating brother Davidofsky for this award

"Alan Davidofsky has been a police officer for the City of Warr Acres for seven and 1/2 years. During this time, he has been a champion for the most delicate victims: children. Detective Davidofsky has spend countless, tireless hours working with children physical and sexual abuse victims. He has gone above and beyond the call of duty in making certain these victims and their families have access to programs to assist them in dealing with the trauma that they have faced. Detective Davidofsky thoroughly investigates and prepares these cases, following through to the end to ensure that the victims voice is heard."
